Leave dressers full of light apparel – no coin collections, please.
Dismantle shelving units and beds; remove china cabinet glass shelves.
Pack all lamps and lampshades.
Remove pictures and mirrors from walls and dressers.
Put frozen food in boxes and store in freezer.
Empty fuel from lawnmowers and other equipment.
Disconnect appliances and tape cords to their backs.
Disconnect propane tanks from barbeque.
Bundle and tape garden tools and other loose items.
Close and secure all boxes with wide packing tape.
Arrange for a babysitter on moving day.
